WFHB FireHouse Broadcasting

What a great day!  After finishing up the day's workshops, I went to visit our sister station KBOO, community radio for Portland.  The layout of the station is somewhat similar to ours but larger.  I got the chance to talk at length with several KBOO staffers (there's like 12 of them), including one of the news directors - they have TWO!  Tonight there's a benefit concert for KBOO at a local music venue so I'm going to go hang out with my new friends.

Tomorrow morning there's a workshop specifically for news directors, then one last group lunch before we bid farewell to Portland.  See you next year for the 2010 NFCB conference in St. Paul!
