Present: Pam Raider, Will Murphy, Carolyn Vandewiele, and Shaun McDermott.

The meeting was moved to the first Tuesday of month at 5 PM. The time suits group better, also decision made to meet every other week. Next meeting scheduled for Tuesday June 15 at 5-6 PM.

Matchstick: Need to collect $7500 of which we have approximately $1000. Discussion of whether matchstick is best use of our funds - question of long term planning versus having capital now. Carolyn is asking folks that do not give to fund drive anyway - we will continue match this year.

Discussion of dinner nights: Buchetto’s night made $300 with little effort on our part. Other places that have deals: Noodles and Village Deli, plus tip night at Nicks. Maybe add a few places in Brown County. Doing one place a month could raise $1200-3600 a year.

Underwriting: Discussion of how Development committee and the Board could help Will with underwriting. Shaun will work up a cash flow chart, expects financial dry spell late summer. Will states names from Board last summer were helpful.

Calendar: Suggestion for calendar to help keep dates and timeframes. Start with 3-6 months calendar and maybe get dry erase board for hallway. Dates to observe:

· June 19th Story tellers at Bishop 7-9 PM

· July 4th Story Acoustic Roots event which is growing each year.

· July 18th Variety live theatre to be held on Sunday afternoon in Waldron

· Lotus event is earlier this year September 16-19

· Fund drive later this year – end of Sept or early October

Other ideas:

* Director’s Table: Do an event for high donors? KRC (catering company) owes us event in trade. Need to have high ticket item each year for which we collect.
* Need about $21,000 to finish digital conversion to translators
* Sell merchandise – 25 days/year. Should sell at Brown County Roots event
* What about year end campaign
* House Parties – need Sheryl’s expertise
* Suzette’s music ideas attach to fund drive
* Assets to market – create CD’s for sale from our archives
* Add reminder to support WFHB on site and also to use Good Search which gives kick back.

Meeting adjourned at 6 PM. Next meeting - Tuesday, June 15th, 5-6 PM. Come with a name for matchstick, a name to add to committee, and a name for underwriting. Pam to work on calendar.
