Fast n Bulbous presents "The Best of Fast n Bulbous 2010"!  All tunes played on the program are from the year just ended, 2010.  The last 15 tunes are part of the countdown to number one.

The number one album of the year is Nneka's Concrete Jungle.  Probably the 2010 release that received the most airplay on Fast n Bulbous this year, it is a compilation of tunes that spans her relatively short career but fits together seamlessly as an album all its own. Somewhat reminiscent of the music of Zap Mama, Nneka combines elements of soul, R & B, rap, and reggae....even throwing in some tinges of metal to make one of the most creative and funky albums of the year!

Other artists of note to receive considerable play on Fast n Bulbous in 2010 were:

Shawn Lee, M. Ward, The Roots, NRBQ, Eels, Galactic, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, The Clash, Nick Lowe, The Faces, The Beatles, Wax Tailor, Spearhead, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jimi Hendrix, Atmosphere, Abstract Rude, and others too numerous mention but which can be seen by looking at playlists from the year posted here.

Thanks to all for listening this last year.....it was a good year for new music and reissues as well!!!
