After listening to Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys in my truck for the better part of a week's worth of driving to work, I decided to make that band my feature artist on this week's show. Music for this came from a two-record United Artists release of the mid-'70's, "For the Last Time," that featured surviving members of Wills' band and a few dedicated fans of the band (including Mere Haggard.) New Old-Time music from Seattle-based bands The Tallboys and Squirrel Butter added to the mix of stuff brought from home and from the station's library.
