Another world is possible, another U.S. is necessary. That was the slogan for the 2010 U.S. Social Forum, which drew fifteen thousand progressive-minded people to Detroit in June for five days of workshops on social problems and solutions. In July, the local branch of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom hosted a public forum to give some of Bloomington’s participants a platform to share what they learned. This program is a series of testimonials from that forum, from seven local people who went to Detroit. A WFHB radio exclusive recorded on-location at the Monroe County Public Library on July 15, 2010.
