Indiana University alumna and trombonist Sara Julian stops by the studio to chat about her musical career and adventures since leaving IU Bloomington. Julian plays “Lush” by Billy Strayhorn and she also shares a recording of “Tease” on which she accompanies singer Andrea Wirth. Noted author of “Travels in a Gay Nation: Portraits of LGBTQ Americans” Phil Gambone makes a return visit to the show to discuss in more detail his book and to announce his book signing at Boxcar Books on Friday July 16 at 7 pm.
