The recent elections and protests in Iran were the subject of a panel forum this weekend on the Bloomington campus. Shahyar Daneshgar is a professor of Persian language in the Indiana University Department of Central Eurasian Studies. He comments on the political situation in Iran and recalls a time in the early 80s when a visit by a group of Iranians promoting the 1979 regime change erupted in violence right here in Bloomington as we go on-location to the IU School of Journalism in this WFHB radio exclusive.
