Ninth district Congressman Baron Hill held a town hall meeting last night, but not the kind with booing crowds. From his office in D.C. and fresh off a vote on the House floor, Hill held a “tele” town hall – that’s right, a voter forum done entirely over the telephone. In order to participate constituents had to have filled out an online form prior to the event, but reporters were granted full access and WFHB was on the line as Hill braved a barrage of questions on cap and trade, the federal deficit, healthcare, and more in this WFHB radio exclusive moderated by congressional staff member Joel Riethmiller.
