That was the slogan for the 2010 U.S. Social Forum, which drew fifteen thousand progressive-minded people to Detroit last month for five days of workshops on social problems and solutions. Recently the local branch of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom hosted a public forum to give some of Bloomington’s participants a platform to share what they learned. In the third and final edition in a series of testimonials, jail reform activist Megan Hutchinson draws a connection between Bloomington and what she learned at the U.S. Social Forum in this WFHB radio exclusive.
