Indiana University graduate Noah Baker Merrill co-founded the organization Direct Aid Iraq. The Declaration of Peace and Bloomington Peace Action Coalition teamed up for a local fundraiser for the people of Iraq, featuring Merrill as the guest speaker, raising awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Iraq while raising funds for aid to Iraqis impacted by six years of war and military occupation. Merrill talks about the need to keep the situation in the public consciousness in this WFHB radio exclusive.
