Hosts Luz Maria Lopez and Daniel Soto welcome Alfredo Minetti to the show to talk about the Zero Hour Tango Fest, which organizers call "an immersive, multi-sensory theatrical experience that will reinterpret Bloomington, Indiana through the lens of tango. On March 26 and 27, 2010 various events and concerts feature an ensemble of renowned tango masters including Grammy-winning pianist, composer, and arranger Pablo Ziegler, Grammy-nominated singers Sandra Luna and Héctor Del Curto, and dancers Fernanda Ghi and Guillermo Merlo, among the most prominent couples in the world of Argentine tango. Hola Bloomington also highlights this week's community events and volunteer opportunities in a segment prepared by Jenny Gibson and Daniel Soto. As always we feature cultural and health segments produced by Nuevos Horizontes, a program of the University of Illinois Extension, and Latin American news from Radio Bilingue. Enjoy another local segment of Efemerides, celebrating significant moments in Latin American history.
