WFHB News Mission and Core Values 
Mission: Our news programming exists to provide an open forum for the community to explore issues and events affecting life in south central Indiana and beyond. We believe this should include open media access for all community members, with a focus on programming that considers and includes diverse perspectives and strives to challenge cultural and intellectual assumptions.

The WFHB News Department relies on the collective efforts of more than a hundred community volunteers contributing to our programming as reporters, correspondents, show hosts, producers, and engineers. Through community support our news department has grown into a thriving independent media center, empowering people from all walks of life to be active producers of independent media instead of passive consumers.
