This week on Interchange, host Lisa-Marie Napoli interviews Charles Thomas about his work as Founder of My Brother's Library Incorporated and Director of The Big Share (self-help apprenticeship rewards exchange) program. Thomas discussed his past experiences and how he gained inspiration and motivation for pursuing work to serve youth. He highlighted new program ideas such as "clean the scene" and discussed the support needed for community members to unite around his larger vision of a 24 hour community center to nurture and support youth.

This week on Interchange, host Alycin Bektesh interviews Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor about her work as a Neuroanatomist. Dr. Taylor discusses her work as an anatomist and gives the viewer's a crash course in brain science. The interview goes on to discuss the stroke Dr. Taylor suffered in 1996 and her incredible recovery after having lost the ability to use language. The discussion turns to the work Dr. Taylor now that she is "fully recovered" including the book she authored and community art projects she has promoted that are so prominent around Bloomington.

This week on Interchange, our Primary Election coverage continues with a collection of interviews conducted by 3 Interchange hosts, Lisa Marie Napoli, Alycin Bektesh, and Ryan Dawes. The first half of the show is devoted to the race to become the Democratic nominee for the District 46 Indiana House Race. Host Ryan Dawes speaks with James Mann followed by Lisa-Marie Napoli's interview with Larry Barker. The second half of the show is devoted to the Monroe County Auditor's race with interviews with both candidates running in the Democratic primary. Host Alycin Bektesh opens the second half hour as she interviews Steve Saulter. The show closes with an interview with Hans Huffman, conducted by Lisa-Marie Napoli.

This week on Interchange, host Lisa-Marie Napoli speaks with the Dean of the Office for Women's Affairs, Yvette Alex-Assesnsoh, and Maren Pink of the Women in Science Program. The office for Women's Affairs has focused on issues that effect women on Indiana University-Bloomington's campus since the offices inception in the 1970's. Ms. Napoli speaks with the guests from the Office for Women's Affairs about the role OWA has played in the University's recent history. The discussion also includes the various groups and activities organized through the office at this time including the Women in Science Conference and the relatively new Indiana University Working Mom's group.
