Tuesday evening President Obama announced he is sending another 30,000 American troops to Afghanistan to continue chasing Al-Qaeda and the Taliban and to train Afghani security forces. He promised to begin pulling them back out in eighteen months. Some applauded his dedication to the War on Terror, while others derided the decision. We hit the streets of Bloomington to get local reaction and found nearly universal disdain for Obama’s troop surge.
