Professors David Hakken, Lynn Duggan, and Ben Robinson each lectured and then took audience questions.  <description>&lt;p&gt;Indiana gubernatorial hopeful Mike Pence was the keynote speaker at the Monroe County GOP Women&amp;#39;s Club Dinner last Friday, January 13th. Pence, who began his tenure in congress in 2000, is now seeking to be the next Governor of Indiana following Mitch Daniels&amp;rsquo; departure at the end of his term this year. In 2007 Pence was named the 19th most influential republican by the London Daily Telegraph, and he has been profiled in The Chicago Tribune, Business Week, the Weekly Standard, U.S. News and World Report and The New York Times as a powerful force, moving Congress further to the right. In his keynote to the Monroe County GOP Women&amp;rsquo;s club, Pence talked about the future he invasions for Indiana and Monroe county. He was introduced by Monroe County GOP Women&amp;#39;s Club Linda Steins and Eric Holcomb, the Indiana party chairmen. This event was recorded on location in the fountain square ballroom, on Friday January 13, 2012.&lt;/p&gt;

Sheehan was coined the &amp;ldquo;peace mom&amp;rdquo; after setting up camp outside Gearge w bush&amp;rsquo;s texas home awaiting answers regarding her son&amp;rsquo;s death during his work fighting for the united states army in Iraq. Seven local peace groups combined their efforts to bring Sheehan to Bloomington. Sheehan&amp;rsquo;s lecture was a free event, held in the First united church in downtown Bloomington.&lt;/p&gt;

There are only two rules for story submissions: they must be less than fifteen minutes long, and they must be true. The project has now expanded with &amp;quot;The Porch Swing&amp;quot;, a weekly half-hour program airing Saturdays at 5:30pm on WFHB.
